Amy Adams is the Queen of Sheeba
Amy Adams is keeping busy. The lava-hot actress continues to accept more roles and has agreed to tackle a role based on the life of famous NPR correspondent Jacki Lyden in the indie drama Daughter of the Queen of Sheeba. The film is based on the reporter's biography and will be produced by Susan Cartsonis and Matt Williams.Lyden is of interest since she was the first NPR reporter to go on air during the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks and she also traveled to Afghanistan to report on the fall of the Taliban. During that excursion, Lyden's translator was eventually killed by an American soldier. The film will also take a look at how Lyden used her mother's madness and mental delusions as a way to empower herself. Production dates haven't been determined. Currently, Lyden is working on a book about the secret lives of a small group of Iraqis.
