We worked with Fred Mascherino of Taking Back Sunday to create a completely custom version of the F.P. Mashco shoe. "It's quick-on, quick-off and more comfy than tight laces'. Keeping Fred's comfort in mind we updated the traditional canvas to a rip-stop canvas upper while maintaining a completely Vegan shoe. We also added heel and collar padding along with custom molded PU sock liner. Under the PU sock liner, you will find Fred's personal quote 'I pace the floors, this empty house compare its contents to myself'. Fred also collaborated with an Jude Iannelli to create the artwork for the F.P. Mascho. Fred asked Jude to draw 'day of the dead' skeletons for some solo shows that he was playing last December during TBS's holiday break. The skeletons have been the 'mascot' of his side-project 'The Color Fred'. Taking Back Sunday has been a part of the Macbeth shoes family since we started, so it makes sense that we would take the next step and start designing together.
